According to the animator, Tony Star began as a star in a wallpaper pattern and a sleepy little face. A small spark that was about to travel through millions of chats.

Julia Kamenskaya drew the original character: expressive, a little sleepy, instantly recognisable. These drawings are where the story gets its face.

25 moods for Telegram
TUSA Team (Ria Sokratova and Bohdan Sokratov) animated the drawings into 25 moods and turned a little starfish into a whole vocabulary for chats.

Nobody knows what Tony did before the sea
Some say he ran things up top: five arms, a lifetime of receipts and exactly zero remaining worries. One day he sank to the bottom and found the thing everyone up there is chasing: pure, unbothered chill. Starfish do not panic. They hold on.
These days he floats, sunbathes on the reef, hides behind rocks and throws the occasional party. He can not tell you what to do. He can tell you to relax.
